Before each session I schedule a consultation with my clients. I want them to know all the creative options available when it comes to having a portrait session done. One of the first questions is determining what type of sessions best.
Outdoor Sessions
Outdoor family portrait sessions are vibrant with color and scenery. The sessions can be informal and casual in style. A pre-session consultation will help you plan clothing and pick the best time of day. Outdoor family sessions include 2 to 3 different locations.
Studio Sessions
Studio portraits are great for creating a clean and modern look. When planning for a studio session, weather isn't a factor! Clothing won't get messy, nobody will fall into a puddle, and kids and pets are less distracted. An unlimited family session, available for all session types, gives you the opportunity for unlimited groups and individual pictures.
Black & White Sessions
Black and white portraits can have a more dramatic and artistic look to them. Although most color pictures can be converted to monochromatic images, if black and white is what you want, it's best to plan accordingly. During a pre-session consultation, clothing and style will be coordinated to compliment black-and-white photography. Black and white photography is great for a more editorial or lifestyle type of session. For classic portraits, black and white has a timeless look.
